How we work

Our goal is customer satisfaction through meeting the required specification. We will use the best practical materials and practices to reach the specified requirements.

There are three ways in which we can work with you in terms of design generation and signage production. We will always be making the signage, but the design can be done by us, by you, or by another designer.

Blue Cat Graphics creates the design.

We will take a digital photo (where possible) of the existing situation; take measurements so we can generate an accurate scaled image in our design package.

We will then lay-up logos, text and images and create the design.

At this stage we create a PDF and send it through to our client for their input.

We work with the client to get a result that reflects their business and do not proceed until we get approval to continue.

We then make the sign.

Designs created by an independent graphics designer

Using the materials specified and/or agreed with the designer (and client) we go straight to the manufacture of the sign.

Create your own designs

It is very helpful when clients have a clear idea of what they want. If you are able to supply this in a form that can be input directly into our packages, then we can go straight to production with your design. It’s more common however for a design concept to be given to us in hand-drawn format – a sketch, paper print out, or as a word document, Powerpoint presentation or Publisher file. In these cases it will necessary for us to rework the design into a format that can be used in production.

Time frames

While there are some projects that can be done while you wait our usual turn around is 7-10 working days and we prefer 2 weeks notice of deadlines.

Digital print jobs need a minimum of 3 days.
